| 内容記述 | 東南アジア諸国連合（ＡＳＥＡＮ）に加盟する10か国と北東アジアに位置する日中韓３か国との間ではすべての国家間で2024年現在、国交が結ばれているが、そこに至るまでには、①冷戦、②冷戦構造を反映したかたちで展開された第二次インドシナ紛争、③冷戦終結、の３点が重要な影響を及ぼしてきたと理解できる。この３点は、東南アジア諸国と北東アジア諸国との国交の樹立について時系列的にすると、明確に浮かび上がってくる。ＡＳＥＡＮ諸国と北東アジア諸国との現在の国交の樹立状況を整理すると、日朝間や南北朝鮮間といった国交の存在しない国同士もＡＳＥＡＮをハブ（hub）とし、そこから伸びるスポークの端に北東アジア各国が位置するハブ・アンド・スポーク（hub and spokes）のかたちで結びついていることが確認できる。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | As of 2024, diplomatic relations have been established among the ten-member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the three countries of Japan, China, and South Korea in Northeast Asia, but it can be understood that there were three important influences leading up to this point: 1) the Cold War, 2) the Second Indochina Conflict, which developed in a manner reflecting the Cold War structure, and 3) the end of the Cold War. These three points become clear when the establishment of diplomatic relations between Southeast Asian countries and Northeast Asian countries is examined chronologically. The countries of Northeast Asia are connected to each other in the form of hubs and spokes, with ASEAN as the hub and the Northeast Asian countries at the ends of the spokes extending from the hub. | |||||||
