Indeed, teaching children requires much more than merely a simplified adult curriculum. This paper will identify some of the continually expanding research in the field, and identify ways that young learners differ in age and stages of learning ability, learning limitations, learning styles and characteristics, conceptualization processes, as well as motivation and support needs. These factors will be considered in provided suggestions for the effective language teaching of young learners.}, pages = {9--20}, title = {Adapting EFL Teaching to the Young Learner Context}, year = {2014} }
